●意味
（常識的、道徳的に）〜したほうがいい / 〜するのが当然だ
It’s better to (common sense, morally) do ~ / It’s only natural to do ~

●接続
V（辞書形）+ べきだ
※「する」は「するべき」・「すべきだ」どちらも使用可

否定形は「〜べきではない」を使うのが一般的。

お金を借りたら、きちんと返すべきだ。
If you borrow money, you should definitely repay it.
